Our Government comprises a Counsel of Elders, which is led by:
President & Chairman: Lee Kuok Ming
An aerospace engineer by training, the President started his life advancing experimental and computational aerodynamics technologies (ie, he was a Rocket Scientist). An affable character
with many other interests (such as biking and thinking up new exports for his beloved country), he is most famous for his speech titled “Let’s not boil the ocean to get some soup”.
Chief Minister – Department of Technology Implementation: Tan Kay Kin
The Chief Minister starts his day at 7 in the morning and doesn’t seem to go home much, constantly tinkering on complex back-ends to ensure they are stitched tightly to beautiful front-ends.
Known for his patience and kindness, he is the most respected and beloved member of the Counsel of Elders.
Chief Minister – Department of Foreign Relations, The Arts & Home Affairs: Chang Lu-Lyn
The Chief Minister with a portfolio-at-large touches all aspects of the governing of the Republic, except the budget, which she is particularly bad at. She is constantly pitching new ideas
to clients whilst ensuring that good design underpins all our exports. A cheerleader, morale booster and dare-devil, she first mooted the idea of founding the new Republic of Splash. |
