The site was launched to the public on the 9th of June 06 attracting less then 1,000 hits. Within 2 weeks, the site was attracting 80,000 hits per day and over 5,000 samples
redeemed. Beauty forums were abuzz with news of the samples and site traffic was doubling everyday as news of the promotion spread
through the internet medium. The sampling exercise was stopped on 23 June 06 and the client had built up a database of over 5,000 skincare-aware prospects. |
